Rated to protect your vital business records, Schwab Series 5000 fire and impact rated vertical files exceed UL label requirements. All Schwab Series 5000 files come backed by an Underwriters' Laboratories Class 350-1 hour fire resistance label.
This series provides maximum filing capacity for all of your valuable records with its 31" deep vertical files. Equipped with a standard plunger key lock, providing a variety of locking options to accommodate your individual security needs.
Schwab is committed to using quality materials such as Insulite™, which is the most efficient insulation in the industry. It allows them to design files with recessed handles and thinner walls without compromising fire protection. Insulite™ will not dry out over time and contains no asbestos.
Schwab's seamless construction, coupled with an inner steel vault, is the only design that makes forced entry impossible to conceal. It also offers maximum fire protection. This will ensure that no fire will damage your paper documents and other contents of your file. With an inner steel jacket design, further fire damage is prevented to consecutive drawers, even if one drawer is left open.
Hanger bars are a standard feature to accommodate hanging file folders. Even better, the Schwab design makes these hanger bars adjustable in the legal size model to allow for filing of legal, A-4, folio or letter size files in the same cabinet.
Schwab has an incredible after-the-fire free replacement guarantee that lets you know that once you have made the investment in a Schwab file, they will be there even if disaster strikes. In the event your file is damaged by fire while in the possession of the original purchaser as shown on the warranty registration card, Schwab warrants that it will replace the file free of charge.

Shipping Information For This Item:
This item ships on a freight box-truck or semi-truck (LTL). For everything to go smoothly, be sure to specify if the delivery location is Residential or Commercial during checkout.
For Business/Commercial Delivery:
You will be responsible for removing your items from the truck. If you need items brought into your office, carried up stairs, or assembled, you will want to select one of our "White Glove Service" packages during checkout. Please note that the White Glove Service will result in additional charges. Commercial deliveries are done during local business hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
For Home/Residential Delivery:
It will be your responsibility to remove items from truck. For larger items, make sure you have someone to assist you. For a small fee we can send out a truck with a lift-gate to aid in the
unloading process. You will have this option during checkout. If you need items brought into your home, carried up stairs, or assembled, you may select one of our "White Glove Service" packages during checkout for an additional charge. Residential deliveries can sometimes be delivered as late as 7 p.m. Monday - Friday local time. Please note that residential delivery can add up to 5 days to delivery time.
Free shipping only applies to lower 48 states. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, U.S. Islands, and Canada will incur delivery changes. When ordering multiple items be aware they may be delivered in separate cartons at different times. We try to limit this when possible.
If a tracking number is available it will be provided and can be accessed through "My Account" once your order has shipped. With large orders you may receive multiple tracking numbers.
