About the DMI Wellington Traditional U-Shaped Desk:

Construction consists of cherry veneers, wood and wood products with a Garnet Cherry finish. All drawers feature finished wood interiors with dovetail joints for strength and durability. Drawers feature a four-sided construction of 7/16" wood dovetailed to drawer front. A deep Garnet Cherry finish highlights handsome traditional details including reverse diamond cherry veneer desk tops, egg and dart carved details, fluted pilasters, picture frame and waist moulding. All drawers are suspended on black, ball-bearing, fully extending slides.

Box drawers have a 50-75 lb. load bearing rating; file drawers have a 150 lb. load bearing rating. File drawers are fully extending and equipped with a metal filing system to accept letter and/or legal size hanging files. Accent and task lighting are included on the overhead storage units. All cases are equipped with levelers to adjust for less than even flooring. Some center drawers are designed to function as a conventional center drawer or as a keyboard drawer. Locking drawers are found through-out the series.

This item ships on a freight box-truck or semi-truck (LTL). For everything to go smoothly, be sure to specify if the delivery location is Residential or Commercial during checkout.

For Business/Commercial Delivery:

You will be responsible for removing your items from the truck. If you need items brought into your office, carried up stairs, or assembled, you will want to select one of our "White Glove Service" packages during checkout. Please note that the White Glove Service will result in additional charges. Commercial deliveries are done during local business hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For Home/Residential Delivery:

It will be your responsibility to remove items from truck. For larger items, make sure you have someone to assist you. For a small fee we can send out a truck with a lift-gate to aid in the unloading process. You will have this option during checkout. If you need items brought into your home, carried up stairs, or assembled, you may select one of our "White Glove Service" packages during checkout for an additional charge. Residential deliveries can sometimes be delivered as late as 7 p.m. Monday - Friday local time. Please note that residential delivery can add up to 5 days to delivery time.

Free shipping only applies to lower 48 states. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, U.S. Islands, and Canada will incur delivery changes. When ordering multiple items be aware they may be delivered in separate cartons at different times. We try to limit this when possible.

If a tracking number is available it will be provided and can be accessed through "My Account" once your order has shipped. With large orders you may receive multiple tracking numbers.
