The table base is cast iron with a 16-gauge, 3-inch-diameter steel column — providing the stability a round cafeteria table needs when people push chairs back hard and lean on the surface. Leveling glides handle uneven floors. The four matching chairs have polypropylene seats and backs with an ergonomic perforated back for air circulation and a radius that follows the curve of your lower back. The contoured extra-wide seat pan and 400-pound weight capacity accommodate a wide range of users. The oval steel frame is 15-gauge with silver powder coat.
