Activity tables give your classroom, library, training room, or pre-K program a flexible work surface that fits the age group you serve. You can grab a rectangle (standard task work), trapezoid (modular grouping into hexagons or honeycombs), kidney (teacher-led small-group instruction), half-moon (teacher-and-students arrangement), round (collaborative work), or square (compact rooms). Mix shapes to build the room layout you need.

3. How big are these tables?

Most activity tables run 24 to 60 inches long and 24 to 48 inches wide, with a height range of 17 to 30 inches off the floor. Pull out a tape measure on your room and pick the table count against the student count — typically 4 to 6 students per 60-inch rectangle.

4. What top materials can you grab?

You can grab thermally fused laminate (TFL) for the wallet-friendly classroom pick, high-pressure laminate (HPL) for harder-use rooms, butcher block for the warmth-and-craft pick, or dry-erase markerboard for active-collaborative classrooms where students write on the table.

You can grab a metal T-leg frame (lightest visual silhouette, easiest under-table mobility) or panel-end (most enclosed look, optional modesty privacy). T-leg is the most common pick for pre-K and elementary classrooms; panel-end is the right fit for training rooms.

7. Are these tables stackable?

Yes — you can grab a stackable variant where the legs fold under the top, letting 4 to 8 tables stack on a wheeled dolly between sessions. Stack-and-roll is the right fit for multi-use rooms that reconfigure between class periods. The dolly hardware comes with the stack-ready frame.

8. How much weight does the top hold?

Activity tables hold 50 to 100 pounds of evenly spread load. That covers laptops, art supplies, lab kits, and the typical classroom contents. Heavier-duty versions for science and lab classrooms push the capacity to 150 pounds. Pick the rated capacity against what your students put on the table.

9. What warranty terms come with these tables?

Commercial activity tables built to the BIFMA X5.5 testing standard for table duty carry a 10 to 15-year warranty in the industry against consumer-grade tables at 1 to 3 years, but we offer a Free Lifetime Warranty unless specifically noted. 10. Are these tables ADA-friendly?

Yes — leave a 27-inch knee clearance under the table top (when the top is at the standard 29-inch adult height) and a 30 by 48 inch open floor zone at one or more student positions for a wheelchair user. The height-adjustable variant lowers to 28 to 32 inches for wheelchair access.
