End Tables > Depth - 24 in

End tables give your lobby, reception area, or executive office a side table that flanks your sofa, loveseat, or lounge chair. You get a landing zone for a lamp, a phone, magazines, or drinks. A great way to round out the soft-seating cluster with the matching coffee table.

Most end tables run 18 to 24 inches square or round at the top, with a height of 22 to 26 inches off the floor. The end table height should match your sofa or lounge chair arm height for a clean sight line. Pull out a tape measure on your sofa arm first.

You can grab wood veneer over engineered core (executive lobby), HPL (hard-use waiting room), tempered glass (modern lobby), metal (industrial-aesthetic lobby), or stone (granite, marble, quartz for upscale executive zones). Match the end table to your coffee table for a coordinated look.

You can grab a single-shelf base (under-table magazine storage), a two-tier construction (decorative display), or a solid pedestal base (minimal aesthetic). Pick the base style against the rest of your lobby — the sofa, coffee table, and architectural trim.

End tables hold 30 to 50 pounds of evenly spread top load. That covers a lamp, a phone, framed art, a beverage, and the typical lobby contents. Don't park a heavy printer or speaker on an end table — that's what storage cabinets and credenzas handle.

Match the top material and base style on the end table to your coffee table — same line, same finish, same base style. The end table height (22 to 26 inches) lands above the coffee table height (16 to 20 inches) for a clean coordinated look across the lobby cluster.

Yes — a 24 to 30 inch tall table lamp on the end table lands the bulb at 46 to 56 inches off the floor, which is great for ambient lobby lighting. Pick an end table with a built-in power outlet or grommet for the lamp cord — that keeps wires off the floor.

Yes — the end table top at 22 to 26 inches sits inside the ADA forward-reach range of 15 to 48 inches. Leave a 36-inch accessible path between the end table and the next piece of furniture. The end table footprint shouldn't block the accessible aisle through the lobby.

Commercial end tables built to the BIFMA testing standard for table duty carry a 10 to 15-year warranty in the industry against consumer-grade end tables at 1 to 3 years, but we offer a Free Lifetime Warranty unless specifically noted. The top, the base, the leg leveling glides, and the edge profile are all covered.

You can grab end tables for executive office lobbies, corporate reception areas, hotel lobbies, conference room waiting areas, healthcare and clinic waiting rooms, and law-firm lounges. Pick the top material against the daily use intensity — wood veneer for low-traffic, HPL for high-traffic rooms.
