Ergonomic Chairs — Expert Answer

What is the correct sitting posture in an ergonomic chair?

Sit with your feet flat on the floor, knees at roughly 90° and level with or slightly below your hips, with your lower back making contact with the lumbar support. Your shoulders should be relaxed and slightly back, not hunched forward, with elbows at about 90° when resting on armrests. The monitor should be at arm's length with the top of the screen at or just below eye level. Even the best ergonomic chair won't help if you're still hunching forward to see a screen — ergonomics is a system, not just a chair.
